Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA)

Gibbs Group has been awarded this contract to provide design services for multiple bus stop pads.  The project includes the development of concept plans, production of design and details, preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for new bus stop pads, shelters and associated passenger amenities.

St. John's River Ferry Fender Rehabilitation Project Phase III

Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA)

Gibbs Group has been awarded this contract for construction oversight of Phases I, II and III.  Currently in Phase III, the project includes the design and construction of rehabilitated or new bulkheads, replacement of the terminal bridges, and the installation of a stopping system at both the Ft. George and Mayport Landings.  Construction is anticipated to be completed in the Spring of 2019.

Girvin Road Improvements (Design-Build) Construction Engineering & Inspection

Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA)

Gibbs Group has been selected as a subconsultant to provide construction oversight for this Mobility Works Project. The project provides improvements to the existing Girvin Road corridor from Atlantic Blvd. to Wonderwood Drive. Construction on the project began in the Fall of 2016 and is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2018.

Lower Eastside Improvements 

City of Jacksonville (COJ)

Gibbs Group has been selected as a subconsultant to provide construction oversight for this Capital Improvements Project.  The project includes the design and construction of drainage improvements (stormwater collection system) required to eliminate flooding in an area bordered by 7th Street, MLK Jr. Expressway, 1st Street and Spearing Street.  The expansion of the Lower Eastside Stormwater Management Facility to provide compensating treatment for the new Downtown Library, the New Courthouse and future downtown projects.

COJ ADA Curb Ramp Assessments 

City of Jacksonville (COJ)

Gibbs Group has been selected as a subconsultant to provide construction oversight for this Capital Improvements Project which provides upgrades throughout the city of Jacksonville in compliance with the latest standards according to the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) to sidewalks, curb and gutters, crosswalks and other infrastructure items as required by consent decree from the US Department of Justice.  The project is expected to begin in the Fall of 2017 and completed in Winter 2018.

Bay Drive Park

Flagler County

Gibbs Group is providing structural  design services for  the elevated timber

boardwalk, overlook, beach walkover and pavilion.  The project is expected to

be completed in early 2020.
